Teachers’ Day Celebration at DMHSS

Dimapur Mission Higher Secondary School celebrated its annual Teachers Day along with the rest of the nation at Town Fellowship (DABA) on 5th September 2018, at 9:30 AM. The programme started with an invocation by Kihoto of Class 12, with a speech for the day, which was delivered by the school leader Kinoto, followed by welcome song and a group song from the senior students.            Dr. Jamedi Longkumer, School Governing Board Member overtook the presentation to the staff and Teacher of the year Award 2018 which was received by Mrs. Lolenmongla Longchar Assistant Teacher. Besides presentation, he delivered an exhortation to the students and the teachers by portraying the example of Dr. RadhaKrishnan’s deeds and achievements as a teacher. While Dr. Bendangjungshi, School governing Board member pronounced a special prayer  for  the Teachers and staff. A special presentation from Hilivi, followed by Entertainment. The programme concluded with the school Anthem, and benediction by Nungkam of class 12.
