Felicitation Programme held
Dimapur Mission Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur felicitated 33 students for their excellent academic performance in the HSLC and HSSLC Examination 2019, on 10th May at DABA Town Fellowship Dimapur. The occasion was presided by Dr. Maongkala Longchar, Member Governing Board. The merit cash award, bouquet and certificate of appreciation which was conferred to these 33 meritorious students by Dr. Jamedi Longkumer, Member Governing Board highlighted the array of programme. The program culminated with ‘A word of Hope’ by Mr. K. Temjen, chairman (Governing Board) who firstly applauded the students for their outstanding academic accomplishment and the teaching and non-teaching fraternity for the indomitable endeavour in shaping the future of the young minds. Expressing his hope and believe that the results will get better each year. The chairman also encouraged the students to never give up on their dreams. He further ask the students to march ahead with strong conviction to pursue in what they believe firmly as the future awaits for those who endure hardships and challenges.
Other highlights of the program were Invocation by Mr. Limaakum, Youth Director (DABA). Special number by class- 12 students, result report by Mr. Alemtushi Imchen (Principal), response from the recipients by Mr. Gulam Sarbar (Top 3, HSCL 2019) word of appreciation and prayer by Rev. I. Wati, Pastor (DABA) and benediction by Mrs. Merensola, chaplain (DMHSS).
