DMHSS Annual Retreat
The Annual Retreat program of DMHSS was held on the 10th of September, 2022 at DABA, town Fellowship with Mr. Yapang Longkumer, Pastor Covenant Baptist Church, Dimapur as the speaker. The Retreat program was attended by the Students of Classes 9 to 12. In the first session, sharing from the story of David based on 2 Samuel 11:1-17, the speaker spoke on the dangers that lurk around the hearts and minds of the youths. Bringing the story of Zachaeus from Luke 19:1-10 in the second session, the speaker enlightened the congregation of what God can do if we seek him deligently. He also encouraged the church not to allow the ‘Crowd’ to be obstacles from coming closer to God.
The program concluded with a prayer of blessing by the Pastor. Meanwhile, Mrs. Merensola, school chaplain and Mrs. Lolenmongla, Asst Teacher chaired the first and the second session respectively. The youth ministry of DABA led the worship for the retreat program.
