DMHSS Observed World Environment Day – 2018
Dimapur Mission Hr. Sec. School observed World Environment Day on the 6th June 2018 at Town Fellowship (DABA) under the theme ‘Beat the plastic pollution’ ‘Team Clean Dimapur’ also made a special appearance during the programme.
The comperers for the programme were Izuto and Nungkam of class – 12. Rebecca (12,A) said the invocation followed by a speech from Akavi (12,B) on the theme ‘Beat the plastic pollution’. A special song titled ‘We are the world’ was presented by 9 & 10 students. Students from Class 4 & 5 recited inspirational facts. Class 12 students performed a short play based on the theme after which the stage was given to the Team Clean Dimapur where the team members spoke on the responsibilities and belongingness of a responsible citizen of Dimapur for a Clean Dimapur. A chorography titled ‘Soch Sayemi’ was performed by a group of students. A documentary basing on the theme was presented followed by the school anthem and Lord’s prayer.
